Mycelium Group: World Tree – Mundus Arbore

The central theme of the exhibition was the World Tree – Mundus arbore, which binds together heaven and earth. The artists of the Mycelium Group have also bound together joint art projects in the past. This exhibition featured a rich collection of works by the artists, completed in different techniques, in which in addition to the World Tree, you can see its roots, branches and leaves, as well as fruits between earth and sky.

Artists: Pirjetta Brander, Reetta Gröhn-Soininen, Satu Kalliokuusi, Reijo Kärkkäinen, Janne Laine, Pia Männikkö, Noora Palmu, Mari Sydänmaanlakka, Juha Vanonen, Mika Vesalahti.

Rihmastoryhmä: Maailmanpuu – Mundus Arbore

Näyttelyn keskeisenä teemana oli Maailman puu – Mundus arbore, joka sitoo yhteen taivaan ja maan. Niin ikään Rihmastoryhmän taiteilijat on sitonut aikoinaan yhteen yhteiset taideprojektit. Tässä näyttelyssä oli tekijöiltä mukana runsas kokonaisuus eri tekniikoin valmistuneita teoksia, joissa voidaan nähdä Maailmanpuun lisäksi sen juuria, oksia ja lehtiä, sekä hedelmiä maan ja taivaan väliltä.
